How long do heatless curls take to set?
Most sets need several hours, and many people leave them in overnight. The exact time depends on how damp the hair was, how thick it is and how big the sections are. Thick hair and large sections take longest, and humid rooms slow drying. The hair must be completely dry before you take the set down, because curls released while cool or damp relax within an hour. Check every section by touch, especially the inner layers and the nape.
