Do I need to use products?
Not necessarily. Clean, damp hair can hold a curl on its own for some people. A light mousse, leave-in conditioner or setting lotion can add hold, softness or frizz control, so choose by your hair type: fine hair usually does better with lightweight products and thick or textured hair with a moisturizing leave-in. Apply a small amount evenly and add more only if needed, because too much leaves curls crunchy, sticky or weighed down.
