Why is my hair frizzy after taking the set down?
Frizz usually comes from friction overnight, from brushing curls out or from releasing them before they were fully dry. Cover the set with a smooth bonnet, separate the curls with your fingers instead of a brush, and keep the hair conditioned. Too much product can also give a rough, crunchy surface, so use less if curls feel stiff. Touching curls repeatedly during the day disturbs the pattern, and damp weather can soften any style.
