Questions
How do I make curls tighter?
Use thinner rods or smaller sections and wrap the hair snugly, not tightly, around the form from the ends toward the roots. Smaller sections give more spring and definition, and thin forms give tighter spirals than wide ones. Make sure the hair is damp, not wet, and that it dries completely before takedown. Keep tension low enough to be comfortable: if the scalp stings or the wrap feels painful, loosen it, because curl tightness should never cost comfort.
