Questions
What fabric is best for a sleep covering?
Smooth fabrics such as satin or silk generally create less friction than rough cotton, which pulls at the surface of the hair as you move. Satin is a weave that can use different fibers, while silk is a natural fiber, so check the product description for the actual material and its care instructions; a shiny look does not guarantee silk. A bonnet and a smooth pillowcase can work well together, one holding the set and the other helping if the bonnet slips off.
